There is something magical about the warmth and tone of early vintage Rolex watches in pink gold. This rare reference 6612 is a perfect example of this warmth – the case and bracelet are in stunning condition and have mellowed in a way that only 60-plus years can do!
The dial is a lovely creamy off-white colour with very cool and unusual hour markers and leaf hands. The watch has a smooth bezel( correct to the reference) which only adds to its character. As is correct for this model, the caseback is stamped 6611 which is crossed out with 6612 above it. The watch is fitted with a hyper-rare pink gold Oyster spring loaded rivet bracelet reference 7206 with a clasp stamped ‘1 57’ and reference 76 endlinks.
