The rare and unique 5500 features an original ADWOC printed logo dial from 1983. Arab Drilling and Workover Company are located in Tripoli, the capital of Lybia, and the watch would have originally been presented to a member of staff or as a gift to a customer. In the early 1980's Rolex produced a number of dials with company logos, team/event logos, military insignias, and Middle Eastern rulers' signatures over the years. This particular Rolex Air-King 5500 remains in outstanding condition and running perfectly having recently been serviced by a Rolex specialist.
