This is a Patek Tegolino or ‘tile’ in English, a really funky shaped Patek dress watch in lovely original condition. The Archive Extract confirms that the watch was manufactured in 1947 and sold in February 1948. The cool case has an unusual case and glass shape and measures 20 x 35mm. The original dial in these watches are rare, as many of these watches have refinished dials. The slight champagne coloured dial is in beautiful condition, contains a small seconds function and applied yellow gold hour markers. The watch comes on the pictured Patek Philippe leather strap that is fitted with a 18k Patek gold buckle. The watch houses the 9.09 manual wind calibre that has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
